It's that time of the year, again.
All the Bird Tools apps now support Autodesk Revit 2027.
For now, you may find the Revit 2027 compatible editions on our own App Store.
The updates have also been submitted to the Autodesk App Store and will be available there in a couple of weeks.
Still not familiar with the Bird Tools pack of Revit add-ins? You’re missing out big time… Here’s a "teaser" preview of some of the pack’s highlights. Keep in mind that all tools are either free or free to try for 30 days, so make sure to give them all a test.
Changelog:
- Added support for Revit 2027.
- Added support for .NET 10.0 (Revit 2027+).
- Added support for new, previously unsupported categories (Security Devices, Flexible Ducts, Flexible Pipes, Fire Protection).
- Refactored parts of the code in order to remove external dependencies and in turn avoid any interferences with other (badly written open source) add-ins.
- Test configurations are now listed within a tabular user interface.
- Test configurations can now be enabled or disabled, giving users even more flexibility when configuring the tool.

- Fixed an issue related to non-existent clashes being reported by the real-time mode when MEP linear elements are first created (Ducts, Pipes, Cable Trays).
- Improved the tool's compatibility with non-English Revit sessions.
- Implemented optimizations and improvements related to the entitlement system of the tool.
- Implemented multiple other optimizations, major and minor fixes, and crucial stability and performance improvements.
Bird Tools - Tag Alignment Tool
- Added support for Revit 2027.
- Added support for .NET 10.0 (Revit 2027+).
- Added support for new tag leader properties that were introduced with Revit 2027.
- Fixed an issue related to rotated independent tags and spatial element tags within Revit 2025+.
- Fixed an issue related to annotations in rotated views within Revit 2024-.
- The tool now filters out any buggy Revit annotation elements that exist without referencing model elements.
- The tool now detects cases where annotation elements are "borrowed" by other users in workshared models and notifies users about them so that they synchronize with central to regain ownership of those annotation elements.
- Implemented optimizations and improvements related to the entitlement system of the tool.
- Implemented multiple other optimizations and minor fixes.
- Added support for Revit 2027.

- Drastically improved the tool's performance by adding a new functionality that "auto-archives" old conversation histories.
- Added a new functionality within the communicator that retrieves and exports a user's entire conversation history into a text file.
