Description
The future of coordination lies in Clash Prevention.
Bird Tools - Clash Preventor is a free to try Autodesk® Revit® add-in that allows users to prevent clashes by running clash prevention tests while they work.
The tool automatically tests modified elements for clashes. Manual modes also exist allowing the user to check selected elements, visible in view elements, or all elements for clashes as well, along with a link-to-link mode that checks link instances of linked documents for clashes against each other in a host document.
Moreover, and starting with v5.0, Bird Tools – Clash Preventor has, and as an exclusive functionality not found in any other Revit® plugin, the ability to run Revit® commands asynchronously in the background without freezing the main app’s interface. This means that all manual clash detection modes and the real-time mode now run in the background, allowing users to run any type of clash detection asynchronously, with them editing the model at the same time and without any performance degradation. That’s clash detection taken out of 1995 and into the 21st century…
Users can filter elements by category, knowing that Revit links and IFC links are supported by this tool as well. In addition to category filtering, the tool also supports parametric filtering, which enables users to filter clashes in/out of the reports based on their Revit parameters, through built-in Revit Rule Filters (a.k.a View Filters).
When clashing elements are detected, users are allowed to navigate and visualize clashes in 3D by automatically creating a section box around the elements, and have the ability to tile all open views when they proceed to solve the clashes for a better visualization. The built-in Clash Browser automatically generates a Clash Report that simplifies the clash resolution process, and that report can be exported to/from Excel®.
The tool also includes a Navisworks® Report Import mode where users can import XML clash detection reports generated by Navisworks® straight into Revit® for an easier visualization and clash resolution process.
This tool is a huge time saver as it prevents clashes without wasting the user's time, and because it helps reduce clashes which in turn reduces the time usually wasted on detecting and solving clashes through conventional clash detection tests.
Autodesk® Revit® 2019 to 2026 editions are all supported.

*: Our apps make benefit of the Autodesk® Named-User licensing system to make the installation and deployment process of our apps easier: the apps check whether the email address tied to a user's Autodesk® account has access to the tool or not, and grants him/her access accordingly. Therefore, the required email addresses would be the ones tied to the users' Autodesk® Accounts, which would be the email addresses used to login inside Revit®. Specifying other email addresses (ex: personal email addresses) when subscribing to a single seat or when sending over the required list of email addresses when purchasing multiple seats would prevent the app from working.
